[Award Ceremony] ON Semiconductor and Avnet IoT Innovation Design Competition

Innovation has always been the soul of the electronics industry and the driving force behind new product development. ON Semiconductor and Avnet offer the industry's lowest-power RSL10 Bluetooth SoC development board kit, and with this as the core, they jointly hosted the IoT Innovation Design Competition with EEWorld.

Participants can use their imagination to develop various Bluetooth-based smart devices based on the functions of the kit.



At the IoT Innovation Design Competition awards ceremony held this morning, Mr. Mai Manquan, Vice President of Distribution Channels and Sales and Marketing Operations for ON Semiconductor Asia Pacific, and Ms. Dong Hua, Vice President of Sales and Supplier Management for Avnet China, delivered welcome speeches.


Afterwards, Ms. Xuefang Yang, Senior Application Engineer for ON Semiconductor's Medical Division in Asia, gave a detailed explanation of the low-power RSL10 Bluetooth SoC development board. Finally, the conference announced the winners of the Innovation Competition and showcased the winning works.


Over 100 contestants participated in the competition, with over 30 successful submissions. Through training and online Q&A sessions with ON Semiconductor technical experts and the Avnet design team, the contestants gained a clearer understanding of the performance and features of the RSL10 development board and successfully implemented many outstanding designs.


After evaluation by ON Semiconductor and Avnet technical experts, a total of 10 outstanding works were selected for this competition:

(Bluetooth travel reminder)

Project Introduction

The outdoor end is placed outdoors, regularly collects air pressure and humidity data, and transmits it everywhere via Bluetooth broadcast; the indoor end is placed indoors, continuously scans surrounding Bluetooth devices, obtains broadcast data from specific devices, then analyzes and predicts the weather and sends it to the screen for display.
