The rise of technologies like autonomous driving, ADAS, and smart cockpits is transforming cars into mobile processing centers. In this landscape, automotive storage chips must not only boast large capacity and high read/write performance, but also address the ever-present "range crisis" of new energy vehicles. Therefore, these chips must be as power-efficient and energy-efficient as possible. As one of the world's leading semiconductor storage manufacturers, Micron offers comprehensive memory solutions to help manufacturers proactively meet the rigorous market demands for automotive storage chips. The company's automotive-grade, high-performance LPDDR5 DRAM and UFS 3.1 products based on 3D TLC NAND technology have been successfully deployed in a wide range of vehicles, helping them deliver an exceptional driving experience.
At the meeting, Micron and GAC Aion's CEO Jiang had an in-depth discussion on the current automotive market supply situation and future trends in automotive intelligence. Micron staff briefed the attendees on the company's current business situation and strategic goals for future development.
Steven Zhang, China Sales Manager for Micron , stated that with the upgrading of China's automotive industry and shifting consumer attitudes, more and more consumers are pursuing not only vehicle performance but also higher requirements for driver safety assistance systems, in-car audio and video entertainment systems, and other aspects. Since 2019, the Chinese automotive market has made significant strides toward new energy electric vehicles, with initial successes already underway. The future development of the Chinese automotive market is limitless. As the world's largest automotive memory chip manufacturer and automotive memory solution provider, Micron is committed to working with GAC Group to create high-quality, high-performance automotive products for a mutually beneficial partnership.
