YAGEO 's KEMET PHS223 and PHV223 series hybrid radial coronal capacitors feature extremely high ripple current and ultra-low ESR , regulated by highly conductive polymers (PEDOT/PSS) .

The polymer system forms an electrical path between the anodic oxide layer and the cathode via mechanically insulating paper. The windings are impregnated with a liquid electrolyte, giving the capacitor a self-healing function.

The surface mount form factor is available for both horizontal and vertical mounting. This capacitor is reflow solderable. High vibration resistance is achieved without clamping due to its surface mount termination.
