FRDM-KW24D512: Freedom Development Platform for Kinetis ^® KW2x MCUs

Overview

FRDM-KW24D512 is a development platform based on NXP's MKW24D512 Kinetis ^® W series microcontroller. It also supports Thread, ZigBee Pro, 802.15.4 MAC, SMAC and Kinetis software development kit (SDK) through software. The FRDM-KW24D512 kit contains two circuit boards that support point-to-point connectivity out of the box.

The Kinetis MKW24D512 MCU is a low-power, compact integrated device consisting of a high-performance IEEE 802.15.4-compliant 2.4 GHz wireless transceiver and a powerful Arm® ^Cortex® - ^M4 core system with data connectivity and high-precision mixed-signal analog peripherals.

The FRDM-KW24D512 evaluation board can run in standalone mode or as part of the Freedom development platform for rapid application prototyping. They are fully supported by a comprehensive support environment.
