The S12ZVMEVB is a development board for the S12 MagniV ® S12ZVM 16-bit MCU, suitable for two-phase DC and 3-phase BLDC or PMSM motor control applications.
The S12ZVM combines an MCU with the S12Z core, 5 V regulator, LIN physical layer and gate driver capable of controlling up to 6 power MOSFETs. It is suitable for various automotive applications such as HVAC fans, engine cooling fans, wiper systems, Fuel pump or water pump.
There are two versions of this EVB:
· S12ZVML12EVB uses S12ZVML128 and integrates LIN transceiver
· S12ZVMC12EVB uses the S12ZVMC128 and integrates a voltage regulator controller for external CAN transceivers
