IoT node reference design using high-performance MCU and supporting WIFI function

TIDM-TM4C129XWIFI

Overview

System example showing how to build a WIFI node by integrating the TM4C1294 MCU and CC3100 network processor from the TM4C product family. This reference example demonstrates the function of remotely controlling the operating status of an MCU through the Internet.

characteristic
  • ● TM4C1294 MCU is integrated with CC3100 network processor to function as WiFi HTTP server. This WiFi http server can be configured as an access point or base station.
  • ● WiFi stack runs on CC3100. The TM4C1294 will be used as the host processor to handle WiFi callback functions and control functions.
  • ● With the help of HTML code, users can remotely control the operation of TM4C1294 through a Web browser. Operations on the TM4C1294XL launchpad include LED switching, internal temperature reading, and button operation logging.
  • ● Software designed for EK-TM4C1294XL (Connected Launchpad) and CC3100 BoosterPack of Code Composer Studio™. TI RTOS can be used for task scheduling.
