The FRDM-KE16Z Freedom board can operate in standalone mode or as a master board for FRDM-TOUCH, FRDM-MC-LVBLDC and Arduino® boards . The Freedom circuit board is compatible with DC 5v and 3.3V power supplies and uses the new product KE16Z in the Kinetis E family to achieve wide scalability with a smaller memory size. Onboard interfaces include an RGB LED, a 6-axis digital sensor, a 3-axis digital angular rate gyroscope, an ambient temperature sensor, as well as a CAN control interface and capacitive touchpad.
