Overview

The Freedom evaluation board supports the MPC17531A dual-channel H-bridge driver, which can drive one stepper motor or two brushed DC motors. It is a low-power, cost-effective evaluation and development system suitable for rapid application prototyping and demonstration using the Kinetis ^{® MCU family of devices.}

Provides an easy-to-use mass storage device mode flash programmer, a virtual serial port, and general programming and run control capabilities.
Includes built-in shoot-through current protection and undervoltage shutdown
Reduces energy consumption and helps extend battery life
Efficiently drive many types of micromotors with low power consumption
