SiC Electric Vehicle Power Inverter Control Reference Platform

This automotive SiC MOSFET EV power inverter control reference platform targets ISO 26262 ASIL D applications such as electric vehicle traction motors and DC-DC converters.

NXP offers 3 optional tools to accelerate inverter development:

NXP SiC Support Kit is used to drive SiC MOSFETs packaged in industry-standard HybridPACKTM modules from multiple vendors, such as the Starpower P6 using CREE SiC chips modules, semiconductor VE TracTM IGBT modules and Infineon IGBT modules. The kit contains two boards, basic software, functional safety concepts and operating manual as described in the following technical and functional specifications. Customers must provide external components such as SiC modules, Link capacitors, busbars, cooling plates, etc.
The aforementioned support suite as well as functional safety software.
Vepco Technologies Inc. offers a complete inverter control reference platform, including control and power boards, Starpower P6 modules using CREE SiC MOSFETs, DC Link capacitors, busbars, cooling plates, motor options, chassis and software.
