The author introduces the classic corexy structure writing machine. This writing machine is based on an open source writing machine project on the T site. In general, the two motors of corexy cross-frame writing machines are separated, which takes up too much space. However, midbot concentrates the two control motors in the middle, which greatly saves space.
In addition, I would like to add that during the DIY process, I also found several areas for improvement
(1) Bottom support: unstable and easy to fall, which can be solved by raising the support of the shaft
(2) Servo lift: where the timing belt is stuck Easy to break, the filling degree can be controlled, not easy to break or change the structure, so that the timing belt can be fixed by other methods.
