"Clone modified version" open source handheld ESPLAY V0.3 game console

I personally modified the charging module to TP4057 and the LDO to spx3819 because I happen to have these two packages in hand.

There is no board for testing yet, please be cautious and    leave a message if you have any suggestions.

       The power supply part and buttons have been changed, the battery and speaker positions have been rearranged, and the 3.5 headphone jack has been removed. Verify that the basic functions are intact. The game has sound and the MP3 has no sound. I don’t know why.

       The total cost is probably less than a hundred yuan.

       The battery capacity is 450mah, which can be used for about two to three hours.

       After making the board, it has been verified, and some minor problems have been corrected. The resistors and capacitors are mainly packaged in 0603. After the board is made and soldered, just short-circuit the jumpers.

       After the welding is completed, first program the bootloader, open flash_download_tools_v3.6.6.exe, select ESP32, then follow this screenshot to set the parameters, select the serial port (the CH340 serial port driver is self-provided), and then click download. There will be a prompt if successful. .

        Finally, decompress the SD card compressed file and put it into the SD card.

      These two are game and MP3 firmware respectively. There are also firmwares from other masters that can be flashed. You can select the firmware by holding down the menu key when turning on the phone.

      At this point, install the casing and the ESPLAY is complete.

If the bootloader programming fails, first check whether the serial port is recognized, and then use the serial port assistant or arduino to check whether there is output. The new esp32 usually comes with at or other programs that will print the serial port. The baud rate is 15200.
