Chip Solution Battery Power Management Chip IP5328P
The battery port uses welding, and the pad is enlarged to ensure excessive current.
Lithium battery protection uses Seiko S8261, 3.08v threshold protection chip.
Moss uses IRF7831 for low internal resistance.
2 USB A port outputs
1 USB B port input
1 USB C port input/output
Any port supports fast charging
The battery charging current can reach up to 5.0A
Adaptive charging current adjustment
Supports 4.20V, 4.35V, 4.40V, 4.50V batteries (resistance configuration)
IP5328P is an integrated QC2.0/QC3.0 output fast charging protocol, FCP/AFC/SFCP input and output fast charging protocol, MTK PE+ 1.1&2.0 output fast charging protocol,
USB C/PD2.0/PD3.0 input and output protocol, USB CPD3.0 PPS output protocol, compatible with BC1.2/Apple/Samsung mobile phones, synchronous boost/buck converter,
Multi-functional power management SOC such as lithium battery charging management and battery power indication provides a complete power solution for fast charging mobile power supplies.
It can support four USB ports, USB A
IP5328P's high integration and rich functions require only one inductor to realize the buck and boost functions. It only requires very few peripheral components during application, effectively reducing the size of the overall solution and reducing the BOM cost.
The IP5328P's synchronous switching boost system can provide a maximum output capacity of 18W. Even when the battery voltage is low, the output of 18W can still maintain an efficiency of more than 90%. When no-load, it automatically enters sleep state.
IP5328P's synchronous switching charging system provides up to 5.0A charging current. Built-in IC temperature, battery temperature and input voltage control loops intelligently adjust charging current.
IP5328P has built-in USB C&PD2.0/PD3.0 protocol.
IP5328P has a built-in 14bit ADC to accurately measure battery voltage and current, and the ADC data can be accessed through I2C. IP5328P has a built-in power calculation method that can accurately obtain battery power information. The battery power curve can be customized to accurately display battery power.
IP5328P supports 1/2/3/4 LED power display, intelligently identifies power display mode; supports lighting function; supports buttons. Customizable functions: charging and discharging at the same time, PD15V output, charging for wearable devices, etc.
Button function: short press to turn on the power to display the battery level, double press to turn off the boost output, and long press to turn on and off the backlight.
Note: When connecting the battery for the first time, it needs to be charged and activated.
