The working current is within 200ma. This value is limited by the inductor. If the current is too large, the inductor will overheat and fail. The inductance is only a few tenths of a UH. The peak current on pin 1 is too large and triggers the protection. The performance is that there is no output or the output is empty and cannot carry the load.
