ESP8266 matrix clock

Write in front:

• The project is copied with reference to other projects, please respect the original author. This project is a common anode dot matrix. Most engineering dot matrix LEDs use common cathodes (including the upgraded matrix clock of the original [HACK Laboratory] )
• The code and dot matrix board design are all based on the high-precision LED dot matrix clock.
• The main control board is based on the references of many authors and modified here and there.
• It was originally drawn using AD , but there may be problems when importing it into Lichuang EDA, so you need to check! ! !
• I put my board-making files in the attachment: main control board name.zip and dot matrix board name.zip can be used to make boards directly.

Main features:

• ESP-12S is used as the main control and has few peripheral circuits.
• DS3231MZ+ clock chip, accurate offline time (it seemed to be around 5RMB when I bought it, but I don’t know how much it costs now)
• MAX7219 drives dot matrix LED
• Using small dot matrix LED, you can directly use it for free
• The CH340N whose serial port uses a small package  does not support automatic downloading  and can be replaced by CH330N.

Precautions:

• The RESET and BOOT buttons use C318936 (click to jump)

• There is a CH340 power supply switch in the upper right corner of the main control board (see the picture below). Turn the switch to the right to turn it on and the left to turn it off. The LED on the right is used to indicate whether the CH340 is powered on. But there is a problem, no matter whether the switch is on or off, the LED is always on. The difference between whether it is turned on or not is the brightness. When it is turned on, it will be brighter, and when it is not turned on, it will be darker.
• If you want CH340 to work, you must turn on the switch! ! ! Otherwise, you cannot download programs or send and receive data through the serial port.

• You can scan the distribution network through WeChat, but it does not support WiFi in the 5GHz band.

         As long as the time displayed by the clock is correct or WiFi OK is displayed when the clock is powered on! ! !  This means that the network distribution is successful.

• The BOM is subject to the schematic diagram!
