[V2_Released]IP6538-AC type

Overview

A fast charging circuit designed for some SW3518S, the input voltage range does not exceed 32V, the maximum output power is 45W, the CA port supports almost all mainstream protocols, which is equivalent to SW3518S, and has built-in low internal resistance MOS, the peripherals are very simple, plus Even with a little lazy wiring, the overall module is very cost-effective.

Update log 2020-8-28:

PCB_V1 style welding test, there was no response to the fast charge request in the early stage of power-on. Later, after my mobile phone successfully triggered Huawei's 9V fast charge, I used a multimeter to measure the output voltage of port A, and it measured 9.33V. There was no voltage drop in the output, but Due to a slippery hand, the test pen shorted the output pin of the A port base to the ground for a moment, and then the 6538 could no longer output fast charge. If fast charge was forcibly applied, the output voltage would be 0. Pull out the fast charge request terminal before recovery. to 5V. It seems that the 9V output is a bit fragile if short-circuited. I have no choice but to buy another chip to test. In addition, I may consider adding a few TVS to the V2 version for protection. And this time, due to the module The failure was too sudden and it was a pity that we did not get enough data from the C port output test.

The project continues to be updated, and I also hope that friends who are interested in the IP6538 chip will design one to test it out. Next, let’s take a look:

Update log 2020-8-29:

After reading the PDF carefully, it seems that the problem is caused by some capacitors not being placed close to the IC. This has been fixed in V2PCB. In addition, we are planning to draft a set of specifications for the Qmery engineering series. The PCB specifications in this V2 version are: [LW.45A. 4H] The preview is as follows: This PCB specification is packaged by me in the form of components in the LCEDA user shared library. You can get the results by searching for the specification. As for creating a more standardized PCB standard, we can make our open source standard solution well-organized. More tidy. This system should be relatively large, and you need to draw each one by yourself, which may be a long process. We will prioritize common specifications and sizes for standard constraints. Anyone can use our PCB specifications to draw PCBs on the platform. There are also other friends who have their own PCB systems. We may draw PCBs under their respective PCB standards in some open source solutions. I also occasionally help them lay out some solutions to enrich their numbers. Of course, I will still be the main one. , for my use, let’s write it here first 1.png2.png3.png
