1. Production introduction:
1. Ultra-low cost, simple production, and quick production experience
2. Another project, the open source quadcopter, is relatively difficult and costly to make. This project can be completed easily and quickly. Enjoy the fun of flying an airplane. . .
2. Functions and accessories: 1. Introduction:
ESP8266 WIFI remote control aircraft is a foreign open source project, developed based on Arduino. The original project uses model aircraft KT board to make the fuselage (since it is low-cost, it must not use KT board), and is controlled by Android mobile APP
2. Accessories:
①3.7V 1S lithium battery
②ESP8266 WiFi remote control aircraft main control board: WIFI Plane
③KT boards for model aircraft are not cheap. You have to make the fuselage yourself. The finished product is even more expensive. Therefore, in order to make the production simpler and lower cost (actually we have no money), we choose
Children's hand-thrown airplane: take your children to fly their dreams together
④Two 8520 coreless motors (the wire should be longer), one front and one back 75mm propeller
Here comes the point
3. Program download and mobile APP installation
1. Download the program .bin file and mobile APP in the attachment
2. Program download: download tool attachment download
A download interface (six wiring points) is reserved on the back of the WIFI Plane control panel to facilitate program downloading. The connection method between the control panel and the USB to TTL downloader is:
Corresponding connection | Corresponding connection | Corresponding connection | Corresponding connection | |
---|---|---|---|---|
TTL downloader | RXD | TxD | 3.3V | GND |
ESP download interface | TxD | RXD | VCC | GND |
After the connection is completed, the program cannot be downloaded. The control board defaults to running mode when powered on. To download the program, you need to enter the download mode: first pull BOOT low (connected to GND), then pull RES low to reset (connected to GND), and then simultaneously push BOOT The wiring to RES is disconnected
4. Assembly
Use a hot melt glue gun to fix the motor on both wings of the hand-thrown aircraft. Connect the battery, control board and motor wires. Okay, it’s that simple. Refer to the picture below for
wiring connections .
5. How to control
1. Turn on the hotspot on your mobile phone: WIFI name: wifiplane Password: wifiplane1234, wait for the control panel to connect to the hotspot
2. Open the mobile APP and you can fly
6. Attention
To reduce weight, the board can be made thinner
