MINI-LINK-V9

Overview

As we all know, JLINK is the most commonly used ARM single-chip bug-finding tool.

I used to use V8 in school. The firmware often dropped and I was recognized as a pirated version. It was difficult to use.

Later, when I went to work in the company, I was issued a V9. Although it was a fake product, the software could not detect it. It also had a virtual serial port, which was very convenient for debugging.

Unfortunately, the good times did not last long. Once when I was debugging the board, I accidentally connected the wrong power supply and burned the board and JLINK. I originally wanted to buy another one from a certain store, but after shopping around, I just found that they were all big and ugly. , so I decided to make one myself!

Determine the requirements before opening a round:

1. It must be a full-featured target chip that can adapt to multiple voltage levels;

2. It needs to be compact in size. The ones I used before were all stupid, big, black and thick, and it was very inconvenient to carry them out.

3. In addition to the commonly used 4-wire SWD interface, I rarely use the complete JTAG interface;

4. The USB interface uses the common Type-C interface;

5. The appearance must be good enough.

After confirming the requirements, we started working on it. The schematic diagram and firmware of V9 have actually been released by someone a long time ago. I just moved it and drew a PCB.

The size of the PCB after drawing is 53.3*32.5MM. Although it is not the smallest, it is still mini enough.

3 piece PCBIn order to prevent it from running naked (to save money), the upper and lower covers were put together (the total size does not exceed 10*10 and can be sampled for 5 yuan). There are definitions of various interfaces on the silk screen of the upper cover, and there is a large area of blank space on the lower cover. Everyone Artists can create their own

After you get the board, you have to break it apart and polish it yourself.

Considering manual welding, 0603 is used for resistors and capacitors, and 0402 can be used to make the size smaller, but welding is more troublesome.

After welding it, it looks okay. The first version of 2T45 was packaged in MSOP8. The one I had on hand was in SM8 package. I forced it to be soldered. The downloaded pin header was mistakenly used as 2.0MM, which was inconvenient.

The second version changed both of these and optimized the wiring.

It should be noted that the output 3.3V short-circuit pin header is 2.0MM, because the 2.54 pin header is very high and will be ugly.

The three board screws are fixed to the copper pillars. Nuts are used to raise the height between the base plate and the main board. The screw size is M2*5, the copper pillar size is M2*4 through holes, and the upper cover plate is made of M2*3 screws. The board thickness is 1.2MM.

You can put your favorite pictures on the back.

See the attachment for firmware and burning methods.
