3.7V lithium battery charging and supply circuit based on MCP73831

 
Overview

LED1 and LED2 are status indicators. When charging, the red LED1 lights up. When fully charged, the LED1 goes off and the green LED2 lights up. The maximum charging current is 500mA, and the desired charging current can be obtained according to the current I=1000v/R3 resistance. A battery protection circuit is added to the circuit, because many bulk lithium batteries on the market have their own protection circuits. If you want to charge a lithium battery without a protection circuit, for safety reasons, you should design an additional protection circuit.
