IP5209 is a multi-functional power management SOC that integrates a boost converter, lithium battery charging management, and battery power indicator, providing a complete power solution for mobile power supplies.
The high integration level and rich functions of IP5209 require only a few peripheral components for application, effectively reducing the size of the overall solution and reducing the BOM cost.
IP5209 only needs one inductor to realize the buck and boost functions. The DC-DC converter operates at 650KHz and can support low-cost inductors and capacitors.
The synchronous boost system of IP5209 provides a maximum output current of 2.4A and a conversion efficiency as high as 96%. When no-load, it automatically enters sleep state and the quiescent current drops to 50uA.
IP5209 uses switching charging technology to provide a maximum current of 2.1A and a charging efficiency as high as 97%. Built-in IC temperature and input voltage intelligently adjust charging current.
IP5209 has a built-in 14bit ADC to accurately measure battery voltage and current, and the ADC data can be accessed through I2C. IP5209 has a built-in power calculation method that can accurately obtain battery power information.
IP5209 can customize the battery power curve and accurately display the battery power. Supports 3/4/5 LED power display and lighting functions.
IP5209 is packaged in QFN24.
