MP26123 single-chip DC-DC step-down switching charger chip, powered by 2 or 3-cell lithium-ion battery pack.
MP26123 integrated high power MOSFET can output charging current up to 2A.
It also features peak current, CMODE controlled fast loop response for easy compensation.
The MP26123 has multiple fault-state protection measures, including cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown.
Other safety features include battery temperature monitoring and protection, charge status indication and a programmable timer that terminates the charge cycle when the timer expires.
The MP26123 requires the minimum number of external components available.
MP26123DR is packaged in QFN16.
