Mega-Cube: Light cube with 4096 RGB LEDs based on NXP i.MXRT1060

Overview

Mega-Cube is a light cube that drives 4096 LEDs based on PL9823. The main control is Teensy4.0 based on NXP i.MXRT1060 FlexIO function and many 595 shift registers. It can control up to 32 channels, each channel 1000 LED.
FlexIO with DMA function in i.MXRT1060 can drive the update of 1 million LEDs per second. Approximately, 32 channels, 100 LEDs in each channel are updated at a speed of 330 frames/second. This is without CPU intervention. In this case, you can bring a screen to simultaneously display the running animation on the light cube.
