CANFDuino: The best platform for open source, CAN-bus Arduino projects

Overview

CANFDuino supports CANFD, the latest version of the CAN bus standard, which can accommodate speeds up to 5 Mbps. It has two local ports with DB9 connectors in a housing that can be mounted on your vehicle or installed in your own projects. The platform is designed for tinkerers, hackers, and industry professionals looking for a ready-made, open source CAN bus solution that requires little or no hardware assembly.

Traditional open source CAN bus solutions require multiple shielding layers, hand wiring, delicate soldering, and code base merging. They also require you to design and build your own enclosure to protect the results. CANFDuino is a finished, "ready to modify" product. It gives you a prototyping space that simplifies the addition of Arduino IDE software libraries and comes with a shell.
