µLab Kiwi and Kiwi Lite are compact, powerful and smart solutions for learning and developing FPGAs. Both boards are plug-and-play and come with everything you need to start your first project, including tutorials and software. FPGA development can be challenging for beginners, largely because it is completely different from microcontroller development. Our Kiwi boards provide an ingenious solution. It integrates the ESP32-S2-WROVER (ESP32), now commonly used among hobbyists, and can be programmed through the famous Arduino IDE. This provides the unique ability to develop projects using the familiar ESP32 and then move to an FPGA for more complex tasks. For example, creating a logic analyzer on just an FPGA can be very difficult. ESP32 makes it easier to process and display data. Kiwi boards are designed to help students, hobbyists, makers, and professionals easily develop projects, and we believe every hardware developer needs a powerful tool at their desk.
