Introduction: This module is a display module that simulates a Nixie tube clock. It is composed of a base plate and a screen plug-in. It can be used with the main control board to achieve the simulated Nixie tube clock effect.
1. Project Introduction
This module is a display module that simulates a Nixie tube clock. The display module consists of a base plate and a screen plug-in. It needs to be used in conjunction with the main control board and cannot work alone.
2. Application scenarios
can be applied to the development projects of consumer-grade analog Nixie tube clocks such as desktop ornaments and decorations.
3. Product Overview
The display module is equipped with 6 WS2812RGB lamp beads on the board, which can display gradient light effects. It is connected to 6 ISP 0.96-inch TFT displays through gold finger sockets. The board also integrates an audio collection circuit built with LM386, which can achieve the pickup effect. The module is connected to the analog Nixie tube main control board through 2*10PIN 1.27mm header.
4. Product parameters
Working voltage: 5V and 3.3V power supply, the interface directly provides voltage
PCB size: 130mm*30mm Double-layer board design, double-sided layout
Audio signal output voltage range: 0-3.3V
Screen driver IC: ST7735
module schematic diagram is shown below Reference design download.
5. Instructions for use
This module needs to be used with the analog Nixie tube main control board and cannot be used alone.
1. Before use, six screen plug-ins need to be inserted into the screen interface of the module in sequence. For the gerber file and BOM of the screen plug-in, please see the attachment "Analog Nixie Tube Clock Display Module_Screen Plug-in.zip".
2. Connect the display module to the main control board. For other operations, please refer to the main control board instructions.
6. Remarks
1. This module needs to be used with the main control board and cannot be used alone. For details of the main control board, please see my homepage "Analog Nixie Tube Clock (1) - Main Control Board".
2. Screen plug-in gerber file and BOM visible attachment "Analog Nixie Tube Clock Display Module_Screen plug-in related.zip". The gerber file can be directly placed on the board to place an order.
3. The BOM is not a complete BOM. The golden finger sockets (LCD1, LCD2, LCD3, LCD4, LCD5, LCD6) connected to the screen are purchased components. The complete BOM is in the attachment "Analog Nixie Tube Clock Display Module_Complete BOM.zip "".
4. The recommended purchase link for components such as gold finger connectors and sockets can be found in the attachment "Analog Nixie Tube Clock Display Module_Complex Device Purchase Link.zip".
5. For the sake of PCB beauty and convenient layout, this module PCB printing There is no silk screen position indication. In order to facilitate everyone's welding, it is placed in the attachment "Analog Nixie Tube Clock Display Module_Silk Screen Component Position Map.zip".
