The overall scheme consists of two parts: the host and the slave. The 2.4G communication protocol is used between the host and the slave. The host regularly broadcasts information containing addresses and display commands. The slave continues to monitor. When it receives a message that matches its own address, If you display a command, the corresponding display function will be executed according to the command.
Considering basic application requirements, the function definition is tentatively as follows:
a. Generally adopts a "one master, multiple slaves" structure, supporting at least 256 slaves;
b. The host sends instructions to control the slave for display according to requirements;
c. Each slave machine can display functions according to the execution of the host machine, and each slave machine can be controlled independently;
d. Each slave machine displays at least 3 colors;
e. The size of a single slave machine does not exceed 50mm*50mm*100mm (length*width*height);
The control distance between the host and the slave is not less than 5 meters.
2022.6.30 Progress:
The communication and control test of 1 host and 5 slaves has been completed. The address matching is correct, the control commands are executed correctly, and the display function is good.
2022.7.1 Complete the layout schematic diagram and place the production order for 150 sets of slave machines. Complete the order for the host PCB and prepare to weld the host by yourself.
2022.8.5 Completed host-slave program debugging and matching. The host can control the slaves (see video). However, there are many slaves, and sometimes there are problems with channel grabbing and data errors. Solutions are being studied.
