WK2114 is a 4-channel UART device with UART interface. WK2114 expands a standard 3-wire asynchronous serial port (UART) into 4 enhanced function serial ports (UART). During data transmission, the UART of the main interface UART can be configured in infrared communication mode through the IR pin, which is reflected on the board by whether the pull-down resistor R4 is welded or not, and the IR pin has a built-in pull-up. Wide operating voltage (2.5V-5V); the main UART supports baud rate adaptation; the baud rate, word length, and check format of each sub-channel UART can be set independently, providing a maximum communication rate of 2Mbps; each sub-channel can Standalone setup works on IrDA infrared communication.
