The reason why it is called this name is because I want to reproduce the SD³ small TV. After making the board, I found that the existing components lacked the side-pressing turtle button. The PCB thickness was made to 1.6mm. The original project recommended 1.2mm PCB, otherwise it would not be possible. In its original shell!
The author of the original project used AD design. There are always some problems after importing Jialichuang EDA. In addition, the boarding rules are about to change, and the threshold for replicating has been raised. In addition, the original shell cannot be used in 3D Monkey for free. Place an order. Since the project is relatively simple, I modified a version and used Jialichuang EDA Professional Edition to draw the PCB and generate a 3D shell. You can order and print it for free on 3D Monkey.
The above is the original rendering of SD³. It looks pretty. If you like the original version, you can go to the QQ group of the original author and other big guys (477140920, 649498711, 720661626) or Github to download the relevant files!
Due to the functional limitations of the 3D shell of Jialichuang EDA Professional Edition and my own level of problems, I can only draw like this for the time being. I have been busy for several nights. Friends who like it can like and leave comments to support it!
Due to functional limitations, buckles cannot be designed, and there are also problems with the side openings and side entities. After the upper and lower shells are inserted, the upper shell resists the PCB. The upper and lower shells can be fixed on the sides with 3D printed cylinders or M2 screws!
There is a hole in the center of the bottom case (top cover), which is the temperature and humidity detection window for the DHT11 temperature and humidity meter. It is not yet known how the working temperature of the ESP-12F will affect the measurement accuracy of the DHT11. After all, the two are so close! The DHT11 pins are bent 90° and soldered to the motherboard. The thickness of the upper cover can be reduced without the need for temperature and humidity sensors.
There are four holes on the side, facing the DHT11 pad. You can insert the DHT11 pins and solder them. That is, the DHT11 is placed outside the shell, which may look a bit awkward.
There are RST and FLASH buttons on the left and right sides, and the Type-C interface is below.
The upper and lower shells are fixed in the same way as the shell. The diameter of the modified hole is 1mm. You can use toothpicks or printing posts to fix the upper and lower shells.
The bottom case (upper cover) is equipped with four raised support pillars, mainly considering DTH11. There are grooves inside the case to place magnets with a diameter of 5mm. The one I bought is 0.5mm thick. Stack 2 to 3 pieces to ensure that the magnetic force can make SD³ Plus temperature and humidity version can be adsorbed to the computer case!
The first version of the shell designed later uses a bottom groove to place 2 magnets with a nominal diameter of 3mm and a thickness of 2mm, as shown below
V1.2
V1.1
The components in the red wireframe are required, the components in the orange wireframe are optional, and the components in the blue wireframe are not required for V1.2 PCB
As for which method is better, I can't say. Anyway, there are projects using it. Experts can leave a message to explain the difference between the two!
I used two 10K*4 resistors on the PCB for IO pull-up and pull-down. If you are used to using separate resistors, you can modify them yourself!
The Gerber file in the attachment can be directly transferred to the ordering assistant to place the order. Currently, there are two free boarding opportunities per month. There may be changes next month, so hurry up!
The screenshot is a screenshot of the case when the order was placed. The 3D case in the attachment is directly sent to 3D Monkey for ordering. The material is X resin, and the quantity of the upper and lower cases is 1. Choose SF Express for free shipping, and you can place an order for free once a month!
You can choose the screen from 1688 Uxin Electronics https://detail.1688.com/offer/669385255221.html or buy it from Taobao, which is the cheapest for about 15 yuan. The one I use is Uxin!
Not short of money: Moubao, 1688, Xiaohuangyao, major electronic component malls...
Waiting for the V1.2 version of the PCB, we will update the soldering and firmware compilation and burning parts after receiving it. You can also check out the videos of major Up masters on Station B!
