Overview

After the infrared transmitting tube is "shielded", the signal is reflected and received by the infrared receiving tube, which generates a signal that is amplified by 393 and outputs a low level to 555. 555 acts as a monostable trigger and emits a high level, which is amplified by 8050 and drives the relay to open and close.
