Mini VFD Clock

Overview
This Bilibili video link contains
development notes and source code for the 8-MD-06INKM screen driver.         It utilizes the 8-MD-06INKM VFD screen with built-in driver, and uses an STC8G1K17 microcontroller. It features two DC-DC converters: an M3406-ADJ 3.3V supply to the microcontroller, clock chip, and VFD screen filament, and an SGM6601YTN5G/TR 5V boost converter to 24V for the VFD screen's high-voltage input. The clock chip is a domestically produced SD3078 with an accuracy of ±3.8ppm. A backup battery, ML621-TZ1, is used for timekeeping, providing approximately 8 months of power-off timekeeping for the SD3078 on a full charge. The breathing LED uses a 1515-packaged SK6812. Program download: Please familiarize yourself with the use of STC-ISP and set the frequency to 24MHz. Assembly: The VFD screen is fixed to the PCB using 3M double-sided tape. The rear panel has four M2-5+3mm single-channel copper pillars, the front panel has four M2-7mm double-channel copper pillars, eight M2 round-head hex screws, and two pre-cut 1.8mm thick acrylic boards (cutting specifications are in the front and rear panel section of the circuit engineering documentation; please export them and cut them yourself from Taobao). The attached file contains a pre-compiled .hex program file, and purchase links for the copper pillars, screws, ML621-TZ1, SK6812, turtle-shaped tactile button, and photoresistor. Note: After adding all components and before downloading the program, always check the soldering and for short circuits. Minor short circuits can burn the board, while serious short circuits can damage the computer! L1, C6, C7, and C8 must have sufficient voltage resistance! The ML621 battery must be soldered with a soldering iron; do not solder two leads at a time! The buzzer cannot be cleaned with board cleaner! Update Log: 2022-11-26: Bug fix - After turning off the breathing light and powering it back on, it would statically display green. Starting the countdown would then statically display red, and exiting the countdown reminder animation would also result in a static red display. 2022-11-29: Changed the R3 1K and R4 10K resistors in the boost circuit control to R3 10K, leaving R4 unused. Dimensions and operating parameters: Dimensions: 81mm*23mm*22mm (manual measurement may have significant errors) Operating temperature: -10~60℃ Operating voltage: 5V Operating current: Average 154mA, instantaneous current when the buzzer sounds is around 410mA, standby current is 8mA when the display is off Power supply interface is a 6-pin Type-C port; power adapter should be 5V 1A or capable of outputting a higher current. Upon initial power-on, please allow the RTC battery to fully charge for at least 3 days . Do not touch with wet hands . Do not power the clock via a computer's USB port . Blackening of the copper pillars is normal. Mini 8-bit VFD Clock Features: • Scrolling time refresh . • 24-hour time display . • 5 levels of brightness adjustment or automatic brightness adjustment . • Ring-shaped breathing light . • Annual timekeeping error within 2 minutes (at room temperature 25℃) . • Rechargeable RTC battery; a fully charged battery can keep the clock running for approximately 8 months without power . • Display off at night . • Countdown . • Ambient temperature display settings instructions: QQ Group: 697752852 (Not a hands-on tutorial group)
