RDR-239 - 150 W LLC High Voltage DC-DC Resonant Converter

Overview

This document is an engineering report describing a 24 V, 150 W LLC DC-DC converter designed using an LLC power stage IC integrated with the LCS702HG. This report and circuit board are used as a general test platform to demonstrate the operation and functionality of the HiperLCS family of devices. The input operating voltage range of this design is 300 V to 420 V DC and requires a 12 V auxiliary power supply. The high voltage DC input in a typical system will be provided by the PFC stage, and the 12 V power supply will be provided by the system bias circuit or standby power supply. This document includes power supply specifications, circuit diagrams, bill of materials, transformer specification files, printed circuit board layout and performance data.
