The 15W MP-A11 single-coil fixed-frequency wireless charging transmitter reference design uses the WCT10xx transmitter controller IC, which integrates all the necessary functions for Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) Qi-compliant wireless power transmitter designs. This solution uses NXP touch sensing technology or analog PING to detect mobile devices charging while using the lowest possible backup power. To maximize design freedom and product differentiation, the WCT101x supports extended power profile differential control or duty cycle control for industrial and consumer power transmitter designs (WPC MP-Ax type, MP-Bx type, or custom) using fixed-frequency control methods such as power supply voltage control, phase control, etc. This software-based solution supports wireless charging for EPP and reference power profile receivers.
