HOLTEK: Developing a Qi wireless charging transmitter based on the HT66FW2230

Overview
Wireless charging products are mainly Qi products of the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), and their main cores are divided into three main parts: power, communication, and system control. Among them, the system control is mostly based on MCU as the core of control processing, and the commercially available microprocessors include 32-bit ARM-base, 8-bit RISC, 8051, etc. HOLTEK's HT66FW2230 is a dedicated Wireless Charger Flash MCU, and has built-in direct drive Power MOS complementary PWM and simplified external demodulation circuit functions, which meets the requirements of the WPC Qi wireless charging power transmitter (Transmitter) design specification. This article will briefly describe the architecture of WPC Qi wireless charging products, and use the HT66FW2230 to complete the certification of the latest WPC Qi 1.1.2 version of wireless charging power transmitter (Transmitter).
