Linear LTC4120 wireless charging receiving and transmitting solution

Overview

Linear's LTC4120 is a wireless power receiver and 400mA step-down battery charger with dynamic coordinated control to optimize wireless charging in a wide coupling range, wide input voltage from 4.3V to 40V, adjustable battery floating voltage from 3.5V to 11V, 50mA to 400mA charging current set by a single resistor, ±1% feedback voltage accuracy, 5% programmable charging current, and no microprocessor and transformer core required. It is mainly used in handheld instruments, industrial/military sensors, handheld medical devices, and electrical isolation devices. This article introduces the main features, block diagram, typical application circuit of LTC4120 and the main features, circuit diagram and bill of materials of the demonstration board DC1969A.
