Overview
Function Overview: 1. Measures data cable open circuit, short circuit, and wire sequence; 2. Supports power supply from 2302 button batteries, chargers, power banks, and lithium batteries, with a CC detection resistor for CC cables; 3. Supports measurement of common cables such as USBA to Lightning, USBA to TypeCC, USBA to MicroUSB, TypeC to TypeC, TypeC to Lightning, and A to MiniUSB; also supports testing of non-standard cables such as C to MiniUSB and C to MiniUSB, and DIY cable testing; 4. Includes lithium battery charging protection circuit, and the Type-C charging port also functions as a power supply; 5. Can test whether the cable has a shielding layer.
Note: When using a 2302 coin cell battery for power, other power supply methods cannot be used simultaneously. The
2302 coin cell battery is not rechargeable. Update Introduction v1.1 only changed the miniUSB package to a direct plug-in connector ;
everything else remains unchanged . Modified fast charging cables cannot be detected, such as Xiaomi A-port fast charging cables, because Xiaomi A-port cables are modified A-ports, while the A-port on my board is a standard A-port, so they cannot be detected. However, other power cables and data cables can be detected for continuity . The circuit principle is something I'll research myself; I won't go into detail. PS: This version is copied from someone else's, but I've made some modifications. It's currently being updated, and I plan to add USB 3.0 cable detection and other miscellaneous functions. The circuit uses N-channel MOSFETs, but in actual testing, NPN transistors also work.
