M.2 NGFF SATA & mSATA to standard SATA interface

Overview

Many laptops are now phasing out M.2 and SATA hard drives, many of which still offer decent performance. These are being reused in desktop SATA systems using APL593X 5V to 3.3V circuits or SCT2230 DC-DC circuits. They convert standard SATA interfaces (non-standard connectors) to M.2 SATA and mSATA hard drives. The gold-finger design reduces BOM costs. The main components needed are an LDO chip and an M.2 connector. The PCB needs to be 1.2mm thick! The 7628 chip should be used for the overlay!
