BQ40Z50 Ultra-Mini Battery Management Module

Overview
The project has been verified by the original poster and is feasible
based on the BQ40Z50, with the size compressed to the limit. This resulted in the elimination of the chemical fuse.
A four-layer board was used to enhance current capability and ensure a complete ground plane. However, theoretically, downgrading to a two-layer board is still feasible.
Due to the complexity of BQstudio settings, this is still under investigation.

Because the BQ40Z50 uses impedance tracking, the wire loss of the battery connection will affect the power metering. It is recommended to use thicker wires to connect to the battery and use Kelvin wiring. Alternatively, replace it with a pin-to-pin compatible BQ4050 that does not use impedance tracking.

The battery
short-circuit current is enormous; extreme caution must be exercised during soldering to avoid short circuits!!!
In

the schematic, R9-R12 are temperature sensing resistors; at least one must be used, and it needs to be short-circuited when not in use.
