Overview
Project Overview:
This project is a USB to 8-port UART tool based on the CH348Q. It features serial port indicator lights, CONFIG pin configuration, and output voltage selection for each port. It is an
open-source protocol
(CC BY-NC 4.0).
Project Functions
: Reset button to prevent the serial port assistant from running uncontrollably; serial port indicator lights to show which port is transmitting data; 2-channel LD1117 to avoid insufficient current issues; 8-channel voltage selection header for freely selecting the output voltage of each port; CFG configuration header for configuring DTR/TNOW functions.
Project Parameters:

480Mbps high-speed USB device interface; only crystal and capacitors are required as external components; hardware
full-duplex serial port with built-in independent transmit/receive buffers; communication baud rate support from 1200bps to 6Mbps;
supports common modem handshake signals RTS, DTR, DCD, RI, DSR, and CTS;
supports CTS and RTS; hardware automatic flow control;
supports half-duplex and provides a serial port transmitting status indicator; TNOW can be used to control RS485 transmit/receive switching.

Precautions:


CH348Q LQFP48 package, prone to solder bridging, please solder carefully!
USB-C interface is also prone to solder bridging, please carefully check after soldering.
Required external components - dual 1206 SMD LEDs, pay attention to selecting "1206" model. Link: High-brightness dual-color SMD LED beads 0603 red-blue 1206 red-green 0805 seven-color RGB dual-color light-emitting diode - Taobao (taobao.com)
(You can also solder two 1206 LEDs.
