Avnet will participate in Cisco's Next Generation Smart IoT Conference 2017.

Avnet will attend the Cisco Next Intelligent IoT Generation Conference 2017 at the Hong Kong Science Park on October 13, 2017 .

This conference brings together experts from various industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, retail, logistics, and building management, with the aim of helping attendees bring their IoT initiatives to market and facilitate tangible results.

Many companies venturing into the Internet of Things (IoT) face numerous challenges during this transformation. Data remains locked to its source devices; there is no programmatic way to deliver the right data to the right application at the right time; and there is a lack of methods to control data privacy, security, and ownership.

Cisco has launched a new type of platform, Cisco Kinetic, which uses a completely new approach to solve the challenges of the Internet of Things (IoT). Cisco Kinetic, and its IoT data structures, are precisely designed to address these challenges. It helps businesses:

• Maximizing the value of IoT data

Cisco hopes this conference will help attendees gain a deeper understanding of Cisco Kinetic and how it can improve their IoT operations. The conference will also include the announcement of the opening of a Digital Living Lab offering LoRaWan services.
