Long-range TOF multi-machine jamming system

 
Overview
TOF (Time of Flight) is a key technology in the field of 3D depth detection. AFE (analog front-end chip) drives the infrared laser to emit modulated light pulses to the detection target, and then uses the image sensor to receive the light reflected from the object, and calculates the distance between the target and the camera by calculating the round-trip flight time of the light. According to the type of image sensor, TOF technology can be divided into CMOS TOF and CCD TOF. The ADI TOF system uses CCD as the image sensor, and can be matched with light sources of different intensities for applications in different distance modes. In addition, ADI TOF is based on a pulse-based test method, which can more easily achieve long-distance detection. This design is based on ADI's existing TOF solution, using multiple Lumileds LUXEON IR series LEDs as light sources to achieve distance detection in the range of 0-20m; in addition, in response to the multi-machine interference problem in actual applications, a PD-based interference detection and avoidance system is designed to ensure the normal operation of multiple TOF cameras in the same space environment. This design can detect long distances and has strong anti-interference capabilities. It can be widely used in fields such as autonomous driving, industrial robots, smart parking, real-time positioning, map construction, and virtual reality.
