Overview

ETA3000 is a battery balancing IC. One IC has two cells. It can be cascaded to balance battery packs of 3 cells, 4 cells, 5 cells, etc., and it is actively balanced. The balancing current can reach 2A. It is a kind of battery-based ETA is a patent-pending proprietary technology inductive cell equalizer. Unlike traditional passive balancing technology, the ETA3000 utilizes a control scheme with an inductor to drag current between the two cells until the cells are balanced. This is due to Switch structure, heat. The power consumption generated in traditional linear balancing technology is greatly reduced. Since the balancing current is not limited by the heat dissipation of the package, the balancing time is also greatly reduced. ETA3000 only consumes the ultra-low current of battery 2 in standby M. While extending battery shelf life, the final balanced voltage of the two cells is also very high. HWICH improves the performance and life of batteries in series. ETA3000 can also be used for multiple battery stacks to wither even cell counts. ETA3000 includes protective features. When the batteries are charging, that is when one battery has a lower voltage than the other, the balancing current is reduced to a safe level until the lower voltage battery is charged.
