The BH1730 is a 16-bit serial output digital ambient light sensor. The BH1730FVC is a digital ambient light sensor IC with an I2C bus interface. This IC is best suited for TVs and mobile phones that acquire ambient light data for adjusting LCD and backlight power. It is able to detect a very wide range of illumination.
