Persimmon pie screen extension module

Overview

I. Introduction

 I accidentally came across the Persimmon UI on the Internet. I felt that the Persimmon UI was powerful and wanted to learn more about the Persimmon UI. Not long ago, there was a discount on the Persimmon Pie, so I bought the Persimmon Pie to learn about the Persimmon UI. I have also purchased a development board from Zhengdian Atom before, which has a 40PIN LCD screen interface; but I have not purchased a touch display before. There is a touch display on the Persimmon Pie, so I wondered if the touch display on the Persimmon Pie could be used on my Zhengdian Atomic Development Board, so that I could buy a separate touch display specifically for the Atomic Development Board, or I could Save a lot of money. I searched for information and worked on the project to verify my ideas.

2. Project introduction

This is a screen expansion board designed based on the Persimmon Pie, which can serve as a touch display for other development boards and is used to display data and implement functions such as touch events.

Project Features:

1. Can be used as a touch display for other development boards, compatible with Punctual Atom and Wildfire;

2. Designed with a three-state gate circuit, the screen of the Persimmon Pie is reused without plugging and unplugging the output signal cable of the Persimmon Pie. When the external display signal is connected, the signal will not interfere;

3. Can be used as the driver backplane for 40PIN and 50PIN universal interface screens;

4. With type-c interface, USB power supply available;

3. Precautions

1. I was careless and got the PFCD in the wrong direction. I couldn’t get into the persimmon pie and could only use it as a screen driver board! Will be revised when available;

2. When the Persimmon Pie screen is used on development boards such as Zhengdian Atom and Wildfire to implement touch functions, the touch driver needs to be changed, and the original touch driver must be changed to the touch driver of GT911;

3. Use this expansion board for a universal interface touch screen. If the touch interface is not compatible, you can solve the problem by removing the 0 ohm resistor near the interface and changing the wiring with flying wires, or by changing the project touch interface wiring;

4. The 5V power supply of the persimmon pie is not connected to the 5V power supply of the expansion board. If you use the persimmon pie, you must connect the power supply to the persimmon pie; and the 5V of the expansion board controls the three-state circuit of the board and the external display signal. It will enable the three-state gate to disconnect the persimmon pie display signal and realize screen multiplexing;

5. The board size refers to the size of the persimmon pie and is designed as a screen expansion board for the persimmon pie.

4. Finished product effect
