Overview

18650 rack revision

 

Design Principles:

 

  1. There must be a light and BB ring circuit (the light is 0605LED self-flash, WS2812 has two specifications, 1206 and 5050; it can be customized as needed)
  2. The overall weight does not exceed 30g
  3. In principle, only flight control hole positions supporting 16 and 25.5Aio are supported.
  4. In principle, only 14MM and 20MM image transmission bits are supported. 
  5. The upper and lower covers of the large version are universal, and the integrated design supports camera covers and antenna ports.

  1. The overall structure and size are modified. The K type is modified into a long X type. The size is adjusted to allow free proofing of certain accessories.

  3. Only the BB ring circuit, the machine arm circuit, and the upper cover (PCB) 2/4 LED circuit
  4. The upper cover can be directly used as the 18650 battery holder, and the tail can be connected to the XT30 head, eliminating the need for welding.
  5. The bottom circuit is designed as an aluminum substrate, and the upper cover is designed as a PCB board because the battery shrapnel must be directly inserted.

A few words, the 18650 machine is really convenient; the battery can charge a lot at one time and is portable; but the lightest battery holder of the 18650 is 9g. There is a saying that "on a small machine, every gram is precious." The upper cover of the PCB is at most 3g, and the function of directly integrating the battery holder will not exceed 5g. The overall frame plus aluminum pillars and camera brackets are estimated to be around 22g.

  1. Bottom plate optimization, the previous design draft was too rough
    1. Various angular cutting hands require optimizing softer lines
    2. The wires on the machine arm are not that easy to solder and need to be adjusted.
    3. The various hollows are still rough and need to be beautified.
