Overview
Introduction
 
The solar water heater on the roof always faces only one direction. Half of the time it is facing away, and most of the rest of the time it is facing obliquely. Days with full sunshine can only convert 1/3 of the sun's light. It's simply not hot enough in winter. If the light-receiving surface can be automatically rotated in the direction of the light, it can convert 3 times more energy.
 
This project is a prototype for automatically adjusting the light direction for a photovoltaic platform. The piggy (assistant) hand of the pan/tilt is a flexible pan/tilt like a pig's hand. The posture direction can be adjusted manually, or the direction of the light source can be automatically found through the sensor.

  • It can be connected through the extended light sensor, and the algorithm controls the gimbal to face the strong light direction.
  • You can manually control the gimbal rotation through JoyStick
