Chip solution DC-DC chip SY8368QNC
Modular PCB
Input voltage: 4-28v
Output voltage: fixed voltage (0.765V to 8V, default setting 5v)
Output current: 3A (maximum 8A, large current requires sufficient heat dissipation)
Switching frequency: 800kHz
Quiescent current 2ma
Load test output efficiency:
1A (93.5%), 2A (94.3%), 3A (93.3%)
The SY8368 is a high-efficiency synchronous step-down DC-DC regulator capable of outputting 8A with a continuous 16A peak current.
The SY8368 operates over a wide input voltage range of 4V to 28V and integrates main and synchronized switches for extremely low RDS(on) to minimize conduction losses.
SY8368 uses an instantaneous PWM structure to achieve fast transient response to achieve high step-down and light load efficient applications.
In addition, it operates at a frequency of 800kHz in continuous conduction mode to reduce the size of the inductor and capacitor.
