Introduction: A dual-port digital display DC car charger solution
1. Product introduction:
This product is a dual-port digital display step-down charging solution that supports wide voltage input and multiple mainstream fast charging protocols. The total power can reach 36W. Equipped with a complete protection circuit, the output parameters can be viewed in real time through the display screen.
2. Application scenarios:
This product can be used as a car mobile phone charger solution, a desktop charger solution, industrial control power supply in integrated equipment, and power supply for mobile devices. It supports fast charging protocols.
3. Product overview:
This product uses a dual-channel IP6525T chip as the power stage solution and has protection functions such as overcurrent and overvoltage. The onboard TP181A1 independent current monitoring chip, the microcontroller is STM32G030F6P6, which monitors the voltage, current, and power parameters of the current module charging output interface in real time through the OLED display. The input interface uses a DC5.5 interface, which is compatible with common power adapters.
4. Product parameters:
Finished product size: 30 * 85mm, 1.6mm board thickness, double-layer board design, single-sided device layout, reducing SMT costs.
The input is a DC 5.5 interface and the output is a dual USB-Type-A interface.
Supports BC2.1, QC2.0, QC3.0, FCP, AFC, Apple, Samsung and other mainstream fast charging protocols.
Output over-current, input over-voltage, input under-voltage, output short circuit, over-temperature protection
with line loss compensation function, support Output CC/CV characteristics:
single channel maximum power 18W, dual channel maximum power 36W
Input voltage: 9-32V
5. Instructions/tutorials:
See the "Reference Design Download" for each interface function diagram of this module. The instructions are as follows:
First time use by users When checking, you only need to check whether the input power supply voltage is within the working range of the module (common laptops and monitor adapters are basically compatible). After checking, plug the power cord into the power input interface, and the board will automatically work and display the output parameters.
The OLED display parameters are divided into left and right screens. The A1 Port area corresponds to the output interface on the lower left side, and the A2 Port area corresponds to the output interface on the right side below. V, I, and P respectively indicate the voltage, current, and power currently output by the corresponding interface.
Production and assembly tutorial:
This module is a single-sided layout design. After welding the chip components using SMT, you can manually weld the in-line components and the OLED display. After the welding is completed, check that the board has no soldering short circuit. After the inspection, you can download the program through the download interface. .
For detailed programming tutorials, please see the detailed documentation in the attachment >>>
6. Note:
The total BOM cost of this product is about 40 yuan (including OLED and microcontroller).
This product requires downloading the code (hardware + software). The detailed tutorial is described above, and the firmware is in the attachment.
This product has no components other than BOM. There are slots reserved on both sides of the lower part of the product for shell installation. You can design the shell yourself and connect it with buckles.
7. Test video:
It shows this product charging an iPhone 7 plus and displaying parameters when powered by a 20V power supply. All functions work normally.
