Introduction:
Chipset: SCT2650STER, SB1045L (used when the input is less than 45V, higher efficiency)/SB10100L (used when the input is greater than 45V, low efficiency), 6.8uH, 1040 integrated chip inductor, 1206 capacitor (1uF, 100V / 100uF, 10V )
The output voltage can be changed by changing the RV resistance value according to the RV resistance table printed on the back of the PCB.
Waveform before inductor:
It can be seen that the switching frequency is 500kHz
test:
Tested using the less efficient SB10100L
Note 1: A 19*14*8mm aluminum heat sink is used on the back of the module to increase the convection area.
Note 2: The module is fully passively cooled and tested in a windless environment.
Test Results:
24V --> 5V, 6.4A 1s protection (may be chip overcurrent protection)
24V --> 5V, 6A 25s overheating protection
24V --> 5V, 5A 1min25s overheating protection
24V --> 5V, 4A 3min45s overheating protection
24V --> 5V, 3A, continuous overheating protection, chip temperature 98 degrees, diode temperature 120 degrees
Note 1: The overheat protection temperature is approximately 135 degrees for the chip
Note 2: The protection characteristic is intermittent voltage drop (as low as 1.3V), and the voltage will resume to 5V immediately after stopping the load meter.
Note 3: This is only a test state, according to the chip data sheet, the output should not be about 5A
