Overview

This project mainly uses the principles of LED lighting effects and dot matrix screens to make your little figurine box no longer look boring and can achieve many different effects. If you have a 3D printer and like to make figures, spray paint, or pen paint, you can consider printing according to the size requirements. The current version is only for small sizes.

Specification

  • The currently designed size is mainly used for smaller objects: 39 (height) x 29 (width) x 33 (length) mm
  • The board adopts a modular design, which can be expanded with a variety of functional modules and supports later function upgrades.
  • The smallest unit of the box is 1x3 (that is, one row and three columns), and the height and width can be infinitely expanded.
  • What we are currently making is 6x18, which means that there are 108 boxes. You can assemble a set of Water Margin characters. It should be quite shocking. The overall size is about 610x274mm.
  • Using esp8266, compatible with esp32c3
  • Can be hung on the wall or placed on the table
  • USB Type-C powered

    焊接完1块主板和18块LED板,电路基本正常,开始编写代码
    1.0版本存在一些小问题,创建新版本1.1,按键引脚修改,LED长度加长,减少焊线

Material preparation

  1. Small box: white, 3D printed, 36 pieces
  2. Control box: white, 3D printed, one set (bottom shell-+upper cover+keycaps)
  3. LED board: 36 pieces
  4. Main control board: 1 piece
  5. Cables: n, for welding
  6. Acrylic plate: 1.5mm thick, 36 pieces, fully transparent (optional)
  7. Countersunk head screws: M1.6*6, 72 pieces (optional)

Build Blynk server (win10)

  1. Install the java environment, jdk-11.0.13_windows-x64_bin.exe
  2. Download the Blynk server files, https://github.com/blynkkk/blynk-server
  3. Create the blynk folder under the C:UsersAdministratorDocuments directory, and create a new file named "start.bat", enter the following code, save and exit
java -jar server.jar -dataFolder C:UsersAdministratorDocumentslynk

  1. Double-click the "start.bat" file to start the server. Be careful not to close the window.

  1. Open the browser, https://127.0.0.1:9443/admin, enter the administrator account and password admin@blynk.cc, the password is in the command line interface just now

  2. Configure the APP client. When creating a new account, be sure to modify the server address and port, such as 192.168.0.112, port 9443*
  3. Scan the QR code to directly clone the UI interface
