Overview

Advantages: * The circuit is simple and can demonstrate the principle of operational amplifier. * Add a follower to the front and rear stages to increase the open-loop gain and stabilize the operating point. Disadvantages: * The input offset current is large, and R1 needs to be adjusted for DC offset when outputting at high gain. * Compensation capacitance has not been explicitly calculated. * Output current is small. * Difficulty in differential pair matching. * There is no negative feedback stabilization mechanism when the output stage is overheated. ~~~~ * The swing is small, and the output is 3 Vbe away from the power supply dual rails.
