Overview

Housing front panel

             1. In the file ESP32-WROOM-32U-FrontPanel , export dxf and it can be processed. You can use black acrylic. The LED screen display effect is very good (the file comes from https://oshwhub.com/hycc/atmega-328p-t12 -kai-yuan-han-tai project)

             2. Install the screw-type front panel, size 88x38mm, corresponding to the attachment file  PCB_ESP32-WROOM-32U-OpenT12_FrontPanel_2021-12-27.dwg. Just ask someone to cut the acrylic board.

             3. Directly plug-in front panel, size 84x34mm, acrylic plate thickness 2mm, corresponding attachment file PCB_ESP32-WROOM-32U-OpenT12_FrontPanel copy_2021-12-27.dwg

Recommendations for soldering PCB electronic components: Use solder paste (because the electronic component layout is relatively compact)

                 1. Modify the power tube of the heating part to AOD413A, thicken the line width of P+ from the power tube to the aviation plug to 1.5mm, and the maximum current according to the plan is 1.8A

                 2. Modify the packaging method of some components

                   1. Modify the packaging method of some components to 0603 to facilitate wiring (automatic wiring uses software Konekt Electra v5.91 )

                   2. Make a board to verify the plan

             1. Modify the main control chip to ESP32-WROOM-32U. The original firmware does not need to be modified (I also uploaded a copy)

             2. Modify the PCB size to fit the 88x38 T12 soldering station shell (PCB proofing file has been uploaded to the attachment)

             3. For the interface to connect to the 24V power supply, it is recommended to solder the wire directly.

             4. Modify the firmware and flip the screen 180 degrees

             5. The BOM list of electronic components has been uploaded to the attachment

     Mark the electronic components of the pcb file (to facilitate manual soldering of patch components), and submit the generated Gerber file for free board printing directly at Lichuang

   Compile the latest firmware of the I2C screen, which has been uploaded to the attachment.

    Modify the source code, use I2C screen, and define the interface as IO13, IO15

    Update PCB layout, modify to use I2C 0.96-inch screen, use Micro USB interface

     The software part needs to be reconstructed before it can be adapted to configure the PCB board
